FS2004 Short S.25V Sandringham

By Jens B. Kristensen june 23, 2005

The Sandringham was a civil conversion of the WW2
Short Sunderland maritime patrol flying boat.

Liveries for BOAC, Norwegian Air Lines, SAS and
Aerolineas Argentinas included.

For more details and flying instructions see the
pdf document installed in the \Manual folder.

This model includes a reasonably accurate panel, and a
working virtual cockpit.

----

Installation:

Just unzip this archive to the Flight Simulator 9\aircraft folder.
Remember to 'use folder names' when unzipping.

----

Sounds: The default FS2004 DC-3 sounds are used. Replace with
more interesting propliner sounds if you wish.

----

The Flight Dynamics for this aircraft are by me, but the engine
and propeller sections in the aircraft.cfg as well as the
*.air-file were copied almost without change from the
FS9 DC-3, which used the same P&W Twin Wasp engines.

----

The gauges are to a large extent default gauges of Flight
Simulator 2004.
The fuel gauges are by Jay Crawford 1999.
Magneto switches, starter buttons, prop feathering buttons
flap indicator and engine gauges are by Mike (MoparMike) Wagner.
Please read his original readme files in the \panel folder.

The pilot figure is borrowed from the LA-7 sample project
included with FSDS2.

----

This plane was made with FSDS 2.24, the textures with Paint Shop Pro and DxtBmp.

It is freeware and must stay that way.

Good luck flying the Short Sandringham!
